Cheminées de Changy: translation of user guides and practical tips

Another new customer in 2023 and yet another new area for me! Whilst I have plenty of experience translating documents in the field of fire resistance through my work with Efectis, here I had to translate user guides and practical tips into English for products actually designed to produce fire! Les Cheminées de Changy manufacture bioethanol-based andirons for fireplaces featuring elegant and high-quality design. The documents were nonetheless fairly technical and therefore called for one of the skills that I feel sets me apart as a translator: an ability to combine precise technical writing with carefully crafted, elegant prose!
